The LAARC Online Catalogue holds information about more than 7500 sites or archaeological projects that have taken place in the Greater London area.
Please note that the LAARC Online Catalogue has not been updated for several months due to technical problems so please check with the LAARC if you are interested in recent archive deposits.
In addition, it is recommend that you use Mozilla Firefox rather than Internet Explorer to search the LAARC Online Catalogue, as it has been noted that some search results don't display correctly with Internet Explorer.
There are a number of different ways to search the LAARC Online Catalogue, depending on your interests and prior knowledge of archaeology in London. Both simple and advanced searches are possible, and you can search for information on sites and/ or finds.
A search API (Application Programming Interface) has also recently been added to the LAARC Online Catalogue that allows you to build your own specific search queries, with results returned in xml format.
In addition, please note that digital archives can be downloaded for selected sites via the LAARC Online Catalogue. More digital archives will be made available for download this year.
