" Pay day tomorrow. I didn't go out this evening but stayed in and read some books. I went to West India Dock on a Special Letter [trip] for Mr Tate yesterday and came home and saw Nana here and she gave me a half of an apple. While I was home I saw Marjorie's Playtime on the bed, and when I came home at tea-time we couldn't find it. Mrs Crow came and helped Dad and Mum to shift the furniture yesterday.
Weather: Hot all day. No rain. Sunny day. No clouds."
