"When I came away from the Docks I, with 3 other boys, viz. Ord, Hunt and Greenway went to the baths and I met Strempke there and I went through Chrisp St home with him.
When I got home I went out again and got my Children's Newspaper.
Nana came while I was out playing cricket with some boys and when I came in she gave me 2d.
Mum gave me some of her barley water. i liked it.
I went o bed about 10.30.
I have got a cold and hoarse throat.
Weather: - Hot. No wind. Cloudy. Sunny."
