"When I came home today I saw two crabs which Dad had brought home. I picked one clean. I also had some marmalade and golden syrup for tea.
As I was playing hot rice with Boots and some more boys, I threw the ball which rebounded from his bat into Mrs Brownfield's passage and she came out and said that she wouldn't give it to us.
I am going to have some syrup for my supper.
I was supposed to have a late night tonight because I went across fields*.
Weather: -  Hot all day. Breezy. No clouds. Sunshine".

* Oscar short circuited his route by crossing the fields at the southern end of the isle of Dogs.
