The General Union of Arab students distributed this handbill announcing a picket outside the Israeli Embassy. It was intended as a protest against Israeli desecration of the bodies of three Palestinians. The Palestinians were killed in revenge for the murder of four Israelis in the town of Beit She'an in Israel. In a funeral ceremony held for the dead, Israel's chief rabbi warned that the desecration of bodies, even those of enemies, was forbidden under religious law. The text of this leaflet concludes: 'As long as the Palestinians are not recognised as people with legitimate national rights…the road to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East will continue to be blocked.'
