This Jewish wedding breakfast menu refers to the wedding reception of Lily Hart and Joe Silver on 24 March 1929 at New Imperial Rooms, Cottage Grove. The menu is printed on three sheets of embossed card held together with a rivet, enabling it to open out in the shape of a fan. On the second sheet is printed the menu for the breakfast, which was provided by V Schaverien, a kosher caterer from Stepney Green, East London. The third sheet lists the music that was to be played during the meal.
