This document details a complaint issued to the Industrial Relations Court on 21 July 1972, against a group of dockers who had defied anti-picketing legislation. The complaint resulted in the imprisonment of five London Dockers in July 1972. Their imprisonment in Pentonville Jail triggered a National Dock strike. Fearing the economic repercussions of a prolonged strike the government was compelled to release the 'Pentonville 5' after just one week.
