Legacy giving
As a charity, the Museum of London relies on income from donations including from legacies to support our work. Any gift large or small would be very gratefully received and would help provide vital funds for our learning programmes for schools, outreach work, collections and acquisitions.
If you are kindly considering including the Museum of London in your will, we can provide some sample wording to assist you. You might consider giving a percentage of your estate or a specific cash amount to the Museum of London, and as a charity, a bequest to the Museum of London would be exempt from inheritance tax. We would always recommend that you seek advice from a professional will-maker to ensure that your will is correct and right for you.
