This small display announces our new Many East Ends project and invites Londoners to get involved. Through Many East Ends, the Museum aims to work with Londoners to explore the East End, its past, present and future. We want to look at how it has been shaped by the many different communities and individuals for whom the East End has been home, and at the extraordinary history of this area – as a place where things happen and where local and global history meet.

We also want to consider the characteristics that make the East End distinct and special. Our long-term aim is to create a new permanent gallery at the Museum of London Docklands, through partnership, collaboration, discussion and creativity.

Many East Ends opens on 22 September and entry is FREE.
