Geoffrey Wilson

Geoffrey Wilson was appointed to the Board in February 2000. He is currently the Chairman of Equity Land Ltd and is a chartered surveyor by training.

Very early on in his career he became a property developer and co-founder of companies responsible for a variety of London buildings, from the restoration of listed buildings like Lutyens' Britannic House to the new buildings over Charing Cross and Victoria stations.

For many years, he was a commissioner of English Heritage, chairing its London Advisory Committee and presently serves inter alia on its Museums and Collections Advisory Committee. In addition, he is a Governor of the City Literary Institute and the Peabody Trust. His interests include architecture, art, education, social history and welfare, and London life.
