Subscribing to feeds (RSS)

RSS (sometimes called Really Simple Syndication) is a way of distributing information that lets people or even computer applications "subscribe".

It's great for information that changes often, like news headlines, blogs or event listings, and it lets you see what's new without needing to visit a website first.

As a user, you need to have a feed-reader to view RSS feeds properly. These are built into many browsers (for example Mozilla, Netscape 7 onwards, or Internet Explorer 7 onwards) or you can choose from many stand-alone alternatives.

If you run a website, you can also consume our feeds and offer the information in the context of your own site. For more information on RSS, visit the BBC's primer.

At Museum of London we offer an RSS feed for our event listings (the same information that you can find on our events pages), as well as our other various online activities such as our blogs.

Feeds available

If you have any ideas or requests for the sort of feed you would like to have available, please let us know.
