Search the collections.

There are two ways to search the Museum’s collection on the internet.

Collections Online

Collections Online is our new online database, which will launch in October 2010. This will allow people to search across all our collections in one go. The content at launch will cover the 3,000 items on display in the Galleries of Modern London, but more will be added every month until the Museum’s entire collection are accessible through Collections Online.

Other online databases

Sections of the collections have been put online in self-contained online catalogues. This data will be transferred to Collections Online but at the moment you can search these parts of the collections through these catalogues, some of which are linked to galleries. Our main online databases are listed on the left hand navigation, but see virtual exhibitions for more.
