Pinhasi, R et al., 2006 The sub-adults from the site have been involved in a study of growth and development in a group of poor Londoners at the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. It was found that the Broadgate children were smaller for their age than from other sites. Surprisingly, those who showed signs of rickets did not appear shorter than their unaffected companions.
