Saxon cemeteries

Human skeletal remains from the Saxon period are rarely recovered from archaeological excavations, most revealed only very few individuals. Approximately 50 individuals have been excavated from 12 different sites in London. It is anticipated that the sites will be added to the Wellcome Osteological Research Database in 2008.
