WORD data downloads

In this section you will find detailed information relating to the welcome osteological research database (WORD). The data downloads are divided into periods where you will be able to select specific skeletal context information on a cemetery.

Additional pathological information

The additional pathological records are paper based records (PBR) also separated by cemetery. These relate to the pathological descriptions in the data downloads and were written in cases where the descriptions were too comprehensive to fit the remit of the database. The data download will provide information on whether such a record exists for each individual context number.

Photographic images

Photographic images are strongly related to the data downloads, though they can be viewed independently. The images have captions but for further information please refer to the pathological description in the data downloads.
