This small knife was found on the shore of the Thames. It is decorated on both sides with twisted silver and copper wires hammered into the blade and a silver plate with lettering. The lettering on one side says 'OSMHND', which was probably the owner's name. The name Osmund suggests that the owner was of Anglo-Saxon descent.

Iron knife. It has inlaid silver decoration of a row of semi-circles, a herringbone pattern and letters of an unreadable word. The handle is missing.
