Londoners are more likely to die from traffic pollution than in a road accident. London is rubbish at recycling.

Although our city is among the greenest in the world, in this exhibition we raise issues of serious concern to Londoners. Using artefacts from our collections, we dish the dirt on the environmental legacy of a chronically polluted past.

The exhibition coincides with the publication by the Mayor of London of five environmental strategies.
