Now and Then

This intergenerational oral-history based website project brought together Asian elders from SubCo Trust, a day care centre, and Newham Young Carers, who are young people with significant caring responsibilities. Participants interviewed, recorded and photographed each other to create a website which compares and contrasts their lives in London and beyond, in the past and present.

The main themes the group focussed on were ‘relationships’, ‘change’, ‘learning’, ‘where we live’ and ‘work and play.’
