A multi-media art exhibition in partnership with award-winning arts organisation motiroti (external link).
Streets of Gold showcases the work of five young artists from across the world who have recently settled in London, including Alberta Whittle, James Voller, Golbanou Moghaddas and Bojana Jankovic and Dana Olarescu. Under the creative direction of motiroti’s Dan Saul, the artists were commissioned to create new work that responds to London’s history as well as to objects from the Museum’s collection.
The exhibition takes a positive look at migration, reflecting the synergy between the artists’ stories, artistic practice and London's rich cultural heritage.
Streets of Gold runs from 20 January – 15 April 2012 and entry is FREE.
