Three years in the making, five new galleries show how the vibrant and unflagging energy of Londoners has shaped this global city. 7,000 objects and show-stopping interactives transport you through the capital's tumultuous history.

Celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Dickens in the first major UK exhibition for over 40 years. Original artefacts, manuscripts and audio-visual experiences will recreate the atmosphere of Victorian London, taking you on a haunting journey to discover the places and subjects which inspired his writings.
Groups of 10 or more people will receive 20% off full price adult admission when booked in advance.
