A new Collecting Policy

At their meeting on 6 July 2011, the Museum’s Governors approved a new Collecting Policy. The new  document is a much-updated version of the previous policy, which was drafted in 2006. The new policy will guide the way the Museum develops its collections  over the next three years.

Cataloguing our film holdings

The Museum is  a partner in London’s Screen Archives ( LSA) , a collaborative network devoted to London’s rich heritage of moving images and film. As part of the LSA  network   we have  been supported by the UK Screen Heritage fund, to enable us to inventory our small but growing collection of film and moving images. We hope that some of this material will be digitised in due course.
