Tuesday 24 June 1919

" I didn't go over Dolder's Tarpaulin dept. this afternoon because I had no letters for him. I went and got a policeman (who was on the north side gate) some tea and cakes the same as I did yesterday, though not for the same policeman. Mrs Crow came this evening and stayed till 10 o'clock. I went to the Island Baths* today in Glengall Road and did my 50 yards swimming test. Saul and Jones of American Goods and Bulk & Grain Office respectively - they each did their swimming test.
Weather: [not recorded] ."
