How to book
Your school can either book a facilitated session or a self-directed visit.
Booking a facilitated school session
Booking is now open for:
- primary school sessions in the autumn term
- all secondary school sessions
- all sessions for special & hospital schools and SEN units
Primary schools are requested to initially only book one free session per class per term.

Booking details for each session can be found at the bottom of each session description.
Early booking is strongly advised and we cannot accept provisional bookings.
Cancellation charges
Please note the following cancellation charges will apply to your booking:
- More than 8 weeks - £30
- 4-8 weeks - £50
- Less than 4 weeks - £100
- On the day - £150

Self-directed visits are gallery visits without a session. Use the links below to check availability and request a booking.

We are not able to accept any telephone bookings for self-directed visits.
If you experience problems with the booking form, or have not received your confirmation letter after two working days, please call the Box Office on 0207 001 9844.
Once submitted, your request will be processed within two working days. You will either receive email confirmation of your visit or we will contact you with any issues.
