Our bouquet illustrates blacksmithing as a creative process, highlighting individual skills within a team framework. It also promotes the arts and crafts and inspires others to be creative. Blacksmithing is one of the oldest crafts, yet still has much to offer us both in the present and in the future.

Kimosi Kia Bakongo is a social and cultural group providing assistance to Bakongo people. This portrait is very significant for Bakongo people from Angola, Congo-Brazzaville, Gabon and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The powerful Queen Vita Kimpa, known in the West as the African Joan of Arc due to her courage in fighting to maintain Bakongo liberty, spirituality and culture.

I started this painting last year and finished it in January for the Millennium. I have been attending Kingsbury Manor for the last five years. It has helped me with my depression. Art therapy has helped me tremendously with my recovery. This is my way of saying thank you to Kingsbury Manor.

Lesbian and Gay Employment Rights, founded 1983, 200 members

At the turn of the Millennium, there is still no English law which outlaws discrimination against people who have same-sex relationships. Lesbians and gay men are not a homogeneous group. We are multicultural, old, young, disabled and able-bodied, parents and single people. This postcard campaign reflects the diversity of the communities who use our services.
