Working Group Against Racism in Children's Resources, founded 1986, service provider The WGARCR was set up as a result of growing concern amongst parents, teachers and childcarers that racist stereotypes were being passed on to children through toys, books and other resources. We wish our object to signify that continuing dedication to duty. We feel Christian worship, service, charity and influence over 725 years should be marked. Young Friends of the British Museum, founded 1997, 800 members These replica canopic jars were made for the launch event of the Young Friends of the British Museum, established to provide fun and educational events that enable parents and children to learn together. They have also been on display during sleepovers in the Egyptian Gallery - one of the most popular events for Young Friends.
