The future

Are we heading for a wireless future?

Already it is possible to pinpoint someone’s location via their mobile phone. In the future mobile phones could be used as national identity cards, this would allow voting by phone. Would this improve the ‘turn-out’ at local and national elections?

The increased use of mobile phones is not only good news. The growing use of mobile phones among young people has at times been blamed for the poor spelling and grammar of schoolchildren. Health issues associated with mobiles and phone masts remain a matter of concern.
