'Grossbritannien ladet
ein'
('Great Britain invites you')
Publicity leaflet, written in German
Originally
planned as an international exhibition, the Festival had always aimed
to attract worldwide interest. A travelling exhibition toured Europe
in four London buses to publicise the Festival. Information desks for
foreign visitors were set up at points of entry into Britain. Festival
leaflets were published in different languages, including German, French
and Spanish. It was important to the organisers that other countries
were made aware of the vision that the Festival was promoting.
