Catherine McDermott

Catherine McDermott is Consultant Curator at the Design Museum, and Reader in Design History at Kingston University. She has written an award-winning children's book on design for Wayland, a dictionary of 'Essential Design' for Bloomsbury Press and contributed articles to many exhibition catalogues including Design, Miroir du Siècle at the Grand Palais in Paris. In addition, she has curated a series of exhibitions relating to contemporary design both at home and abroad.

Edwina Ehrman

Edwina Ehrman is Curator of Costume and Decorative Arts at the Museum of London.

She has worked at the Museum of London since 1992 and has contributed to many exhibitions. Published work includes contributions to London World City 1800-1840 (1992) and London Eats Out (1999). She regularly lectures on 18th- and 19th-century London and the history of dress and jewellery.

Tim Hatley

Tim Hatley trained at Central Saint Martin's School of Art and Design, graduating in 1989 with a First Class Honours Degree. He has become one of the leading designers working in this country, with many successful design productions in theatre, ballet and opera.

Recent awards include the 1999 London Evening Standard Award for Theatre Design and an Olivier Award in 1997 for Best Set Design for Stanley at the Royal National Theatre. Tim's recent projects include Carmen with Opera North and Suddenly Last Summer at the Comedy Theatre.
