The map on the left shows where you are and which way you are travelling at all times. To go directly to a particular location, just click on it.
To navigate through the Virtual Victorian Walk, use the arrows beneath the view window to go forwards or backwards, step left or right, or turn around 90 degrees to the left or right.
To see a hotspot move your mouse over the image in the view window until you find a live area and click on it. To go directly to a hotspot click on the thumbnail images in the right-hand menu.

To enlarge any image, or find out more about it, either click on the image or on the magnifying glass icon beside it. |

To listen to the readings, click on the speaker icon. You will need either Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer, a media player program, such as Windows media player or Quicktime and a 56k modem connection or faster. |
