Summary: [subsequent acc no, 50.79/1 should be used for this pot - re-mark and sort out XG] Cologne stoneware Bartmann jug with turned flat base and strap handle. Dark grey stoneware with patchy brown surface under lustrous speckled salt-glaze. Applied on the neck with rectangular bearded facemask, and around the waist with broad bands of scrolled foliage; the upper and lower body with roundel medallions containing male portrait busts. Possibly made at the Streitzeuggasse workshop.
