Production date: 1501-1600 Material: ceramic; earthenware Measurements: H 161 mm; DM (belly) 113mm Museum Section: Post-Medieval Summary: Tin-glazed earthenware jug decorated round the neck and above the base with blue and ochre gadroons, and round the bowl with a floral vine and green leaves, all on a greyish glaze. Some restoration. There is a very similarly decorated ring handled vase from Middelburg in the Boymans van Beuningen Museum. cf. Rackham, pl. 50 (a).
