Short neck, extra clay smoothed down over join. Flattened and knife trimmed back, with central section broken and reconstruc ted (loose inside vessel). Base flattened. Front convex with throwing marks. Splashed lead glaze. Possibly a Dutch slipware fabric. Location: Object stored at Mortimer Wheeler House (Ceramics and Glass store) Category: Slipwares. |
