See large image ampullaAccession number: 5344Production date: 1601-1700 Material: glass Measurements: H 70 mm; W (body) 57 mm Museum Section: Post-Medieval Summary: Ampulla in colourless glass with flattened round body on pedestal base, side seams apparent, one face has a series of concentric circles, the other a single circle. The vessel has a short neck with a fragmentary rim, curving in on itself, the base of the body has a slight kick and unpolished pontil mark. The design resembles lead alloy ampullae.
