Summary: Figure group consisting of a crowned figure of Vulcan in the centre with his arm resting upon a pick, his body is draped in red fabric. Surrounding the figure are four cherubs. The male sits next to a cannon, a helmet and a shield which has an impressed face as decoration. The cherub directly to his right is using an anvil. The piece has a gold rimmed oval base. One of the wheels on the cannon has broken away. It has the label of the Blacksmith's Company which has a coat of arms with the legend 'By Hammer and Hand all Arts do Stand'.
