See large image bird fountain Accession number: A5653 Production date: 1701-1735 Material: glass Measurements: H 70 mm; DM 65 mm (approx) Museum Section: Decorative Art Summary: Bird fountain, (water dispenser for birds). Colourless glass, conical vessel with mould-blown vertical ribbing, topped with a plain finial. Towards the base a hole marks the place where a short neck vented into a small tray. Base has a shallow kick and unpolished pontil mark. Location: Object stored at Mortimer Wheeler House (Ceramics and Glass store)
