Long narrow holder, slightly wider towards base, with everted and inturned rim, on complex stem comprising the following elements (from top): baluster; ball knop with double row of air bubbles; inverted baluster; bladed knop; 5-banded annulated knop; double merese; on blown, domed and terraced (5 corrugations) foot. Smooth pontil mark of the type produced by the glass left on the blowing iron when cracked off the holder ('self-empontillated'! W Gudenrath). Probably from the same glassworks as 86 and 424.
