See large image table glass; bonnet salt; monteith; jelly glass Accession number: 34.139/145 Production date: 1731-1760 Material: glass; lead glass Measurements: H 80 mm; DM (rim) 55 mm; DM (foot) 55 mm; WT 149 gm Museum Section: Decorative Art Summary: Ogee bowl, formed in a large-mesh diamond mould and blown, pinched into basal knop; on conical pad foot. Polished-out pontil mark. Denticulated cutting around the rim of the glass. Extensively broken but repaired and gap-filled with resin: a good example of repair.
