Summary: Candlestick in form of a Corinthian column: saucer-topped plain cylindrical holder (3 faint corrugations) pushed into double thistle-shaped merese; on hollow reeded drawn stem, on two-coil collar and merese; on straight-sided domed and moulded (5 corrugations) blown foot. Pontil mark on the underside of foot is from burst-off on the blowing iron ('empontillated', W Gudenrath). Large lump of seed ?from blowing iron on top surface of holder's saucer. Pair to 34.138/416.
