See large image candlestick Accession number: 34.139/422 Material: glass; lead glass Measurements: H 182 mm; DM (holder; outer) 42 mm; DM (holder; inner) 32 mm; DM (foot) 120 mm; WT 543 gm Museum Section: Decorative Art Summary: Candlestick: straight holder with inturned rim; on complex stem comprising (from top to bottom) hollow acorn knop, six banded annulated knop, ball knop with two rows of air bubbles and ?accidental centre bubble; on blown 4-band beehive foot. The size of the holder suggests that it could have been used for a four arm branch for additional light. Compare with Thorpe 1929 pl. 57.1-2.
