Most popular browsers let you change the way individual websites look. For example, you can increase the size of the text, or switch off images.
The examples below show how to change font sizes on different browsers:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer
Go to the 'View' menu, select 'Text Size' and then choose from one of the five font sizes: Largest, Large, Medium, Small and Smallest
- Mozilla Firefox
Go to the 'View' menu, select 'Text Size' and then either Increase Ctrl + +, Decrease Ctrl + − or Normal Ctrl + 0
- Google Chrome
Click on the paper icon, click on ‘Zoom’ and then click on ‘Larger’ or ‘Smaller’
Go to the 'Tools' menu, select 'Preferences 'then click on the 'Web pages' tab. Select the 'Normal font' button. A dialogue box appears and provides options to increase/decrease font size, font type, weight and style.
