Summary

Excavation revealed two Roman buildings on terraces, apparently of later Roman date. From 17th-c contexts came a number of medieval moulded stones from an ecclesiastical context; the site lies immediately S of the parish church of St Dunstan in the East. A watching brief was also carried out on the site in 1977.
