The Museum offers a range of useful resources for teachers.

KS2 & KS3 online teachers packages

Brand new materials to help you teach art and design, citizenship, geography, and literacy using the Museum's resources. These online packages contain background information, activities to do at the Museum as well as preparatory and follow-up classwork, all specially prepared by subject expert museum educators. Bookmark them now!

Gallery packs

Attractive and easy to use guides to key galleries that contain a range of practical materials to support class visits to the Museum. Written by expert Museum educators, each pack is tied in to the relevant sections of the English National Curriculum.

Each pack provides background information, a gallery plan, 'starting point' sheets for helpers and teachers, and ready-to-use gallery activity sheets suitable for group work in the Museum. The World City galleries have an expanded pack including an additional timeline poster and colour prints illustrating different aspects of life in Victorian London.

Teachers packs

Once you have selected and booked a taught session at the Museum, you will be sent a free Teachers pack specially tailored to your session. It will include guidance on how to make the most of your visit, detailed information on the session itself, gallery activities and cross-curricular follow-up activities. These packs are only available in conjunction with booked school sessions.
