This website was initially created alongside an exhibition, Belonging: voices of London’s refugees, which was held at the Museum of London between 26 October 2006 and 25 February 2007.

This thought-provoking exhibition challenged assumptions about refugees and explored the contributions they make to London. Visitors could listen to powerful personal stories and see objects, photographs, film and art that brought home tales of loss, adaptation and achievement.
