'I didn’t go to school. I learnt the Koran at home. I used to finish the Koran every fortnight and then read it again. My mom taught me how to read the Koran. Boys would usually have an Imam or teacher come into the house but with the ladies, at that time it was the mother who would pass on the knowledge.'

'Well actually I don’t go to school, I got home tuition, so there’s not really any other classmates. Its better 'cos at the moment I’m doing a correspondence course, so I get sent the work and then I do it.'
