Alan Rolfe

Flu epidemic kills millions


Alan Rolfe was born in London in 1908. He grew up in Streatham. In his interview, he talks about how he, his sister and the family's maid all caught the flu in 1918-19. The epidemic that year killed millions of people worldwide.

Alan Rolfe was interviewed by Annette Day in 2003.
