"We just still look back and marvel at the way it was done. They had to physically build a classroom, a type of mock-up of a bus in the classroom, and give us money to play with. Because in Barbados was dollars and cents, and the transition from dollars and cents to pounds, shillings and pence at that time was difficult. You knew that if anybody gave you a pound then and they wanted a shilling fare that you had to give them back nineteen shillings. But to find nineteen shillings physically that you've never seen before took a lot of getting used to. So we had to practise that in the classroom before we were kind of let loose on the public."
