The Museum of London is proud to hold the definitive London Collection. However, constant activity is required to add to, interpret, conserve and display our unique content.

Our ability to do so relies heavily on the generosity of the museum’s supporters.

From the largest archaeological archive in the world, to our stunning fashion, art and social history collections, the museum charts the incredible story of the greatest city in the world, and its people.

Delivering the perfect family day out in east London

More than ten years after it opened, the Museum of London Docklands attracts more visitors than ever, and is increasingly popular with visitors in family groups.

To ensure our family visitors gain as much from their visit as possible, we plan to make changes to our galleries that will range from new captions and interpretation (allowing different generations of a family to explore an object together), to brand new spaces within our galleries where families can directly interact with our collection.

With your support we will transform the experience of the Museum of London Docklands for young people and their families.
