Whether this is your first time at the museum or you've been through our doors before, here's our guide to make your visit a day out to remember.

Charge your phone beforehand
When you see a QR code in our galleries, you may use your phone to access online content to enrich your experience, so don't forget to charge your smartphone beforehand!
Grab a free family pack
Our wonderful Families team has put together a free family pack to take around on your visit!
You can download and print the 'Family challenger' game from the packs here, or ask one of our friendly staff members to direct you to the packs when you visit.
Bring a picnic, or pick up some food here
Our Ellipse Hall café space will be available to use as an indoor lunch space, so bring your own picnic and enjoy your food in the heart of the museum!
Haven't brought food with you? Not to worry! You can pick up lunch or a snack at the Benugo entrance hall café and, from October half term, the Ellipse Hall café too. You can find out more on our Eating and Drinking page.
Download and print an activity sheet
Print off one of our free activity sheets and bring them along on the day of your visit:
- War, Plague and Fire activity sheet
- Galleries of Modern London activity sheet (for 4-7 years old)
