Hey London, we've missed you! We can't wait to welcome you back to the museum.

We’re excited to welcome you to the Museum of London Docklands, the museum that tells the story of London’s docks and how they shaped the city we know today.

To make sure that you have a safe and enjoyable visit to the museum, you now need a free ticket, which you can book using the calendar on this page. Advance ticket booking is highly recommended, but there will be a limited number of walk-up tickets available on the day for spontaneous visits. Call 020 7030 3300 to check ticket availability before you visit. Please note we are now legally obliged to collect and maintain a record of visitors who come onto our premises for the purpose of contract tracing, under the NHS Test and Trace scheme. For more information, please see the Museum of London Privacy Notice.

A free general admission ticket to the museum includes entry to the Havering Hoard: A Bronze Age Mystery exhibition until Sunday 18 April 2021. Please note there is limited capacity in the exhibition and you may be asked to queue at peak times.

Our opening times have changed on weekdays. We’re open from 11.30am-3.30pm, Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please be aware that we will need to start clearing the galleries 20 minutes before closing time. From Monday 9 November, our opening times will be switching to 10am-5pm, Wednesday-Sunday, as Mondays and Tuesdays will be reserved for dedicated schools days.

Extended opening times for October half term! The Museum of London Docklands will be open from 10am-6pm every day from Saturday 24 October-Sunday 1 November - free general admission tickets can be booked now.

Visitors to the Museum of London and Museum of London Docklands will be required to wear face coverings upon entering both sites unless otherwise exempt.
