Exploring the future human

In partnership with DLA Piper and the Guardian, a panel of leading thinkers, writers and practitioners explore how our interactions with technologies are transforming our bodies, identities and the relationships we have with each other in our changing cities.

Futureshocks: human is the first in a series of talks curated by writer and urbanist Adam Greenfield and Museum of London curator Lauren Parker that chart the role of technologies – from historical innovations to future speculations – in transforming and disrupting the city and the lived experience of our urban environments.

Futureshocks: human is chaired by Ian Sample, science editor of the Guardian.

Speakers include:

- Timo Arnall, photographer, filmmaker, designer and researcher into emerging technologies
- Rachel Coldicutt, feminist, technologist and CEO of Doteveryone
- Aimee Meredith Cox, scholar, dancer and author of Shapeshifters: Black Girls and the Choreography of Citizenship
- Adam Greenfield, event co-curator, and author of Radical Technologies: the Design of Everyday Life
